Letter from the Board Chair & Executive Director
Welcome to the 2020 Huron County Community Foundation Annual Report. 2020 was full of unexpected challenges and opportunities to innovate. On the following pages, we will highlight what we accomplished together as a community when faced with adversity.
This year, HCCF awarded over $245,000 in grants and scholarships, a new one-year record total for our organization. The power of endowments, the support of generous donors, and strong community partnerships allowed HCCF to meet increased need with increased resources. Thank you to each and every person, corporation, and foundation that trusts HCCF to be your philanthropic partner. We take great pride in being your choice for supporting Huron County.
We continued to keep our community driven Strategic Priorities at the center of our work -- creating vibrant communities, retaining talent, and supporting business development. One highlight was the announcement of our building project, which was shared at our Annual Celebration. HCCF spent much of 2020 in the planning phases of a plan to redevelop a downtown building, supporting vibrant communities, providing additional resources to the county, and creating a permanent home for HCCF. This is a huge step forward for the community!
Enjoy this look back at 2020 and thank you for your continued support.
